Child Motor Development by Dr Janine Spencer
Until recently babies were thought to be quite passive with little awareness of the world around them.We now know that this is far from the truth.
Gymbabes (six months to walking)

What the experts say "Gymbabes allows babies to learn through
experience how to trust their own bodies nad helps them to gain confidence
in the things they can do. As parents, we begin to understand what our children
are capable of and how to help them without compromising their independence."
Chartered Educational Psychologist Denise Thornton.
With parent involvement, Gymbabes helps to stimulate andencourage
babies to use all their senses, gently and without pressure. Playing, nexploring,
crawling and learning together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
This weekly session provides opportunities for parents to learn and discover
their child’s physical strength and abilities through being actively involved in the 45mins.
